At the Gangnam Center, all endoscopic instruments are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected through basic and chemical cleaning methods. Also, we have a separate supervisory authority responsible for rigorous infection management and disposable forceps are used for biopsy.

The sedative used for endoscopy helps you rest during the procedure and may induce short-term memory loss.

After the endoscopy, you will regain conscious awareness and be able to follow the physician’s instructions and answer back. However, the effects of the sedative may cause you to feel like you have slept during the procedure.

To minimize the inconvenience of the patients, we ensure that the patients get a good rest after the endoscopy.

You may schedule an appointment in person, by telephone, or online.

Create an account on the Gangnam Center website (http://healthcare.snuh.org). Then click on “View Results” under the “My Checkup Result” tab menu. You may also view the checkup results on your mobile phone via our mobile webpage (http://m.healthcare.snuh.org).
